Digital Artefact: Beta

Since starting this project, I have learned a lot in terms of ways I can better the PotteryBox social media accounts. I now have established goals for the end of the semester, as well as made a more cement plan for how to achieve that. The first few weeks of this semester were for prototyping, and now I can apply what I’ve learned from that stage to my digital artefact.

  1. Hi Candace,

I found your Beta video very interesting and thought it was well thought out, backed up by evidence and data. I really like that you have clearly set out a clear plan and you have thought of your future goals. Both the plan and goals are realistic and works in your own schedule, which I think is very important as you aren’t stretching yourself out too thin and will be able to stick to them. I think the wide platform use and use of stories is amazing and such a good way to engage and interact with your audience, as well as collecting data for yourself to see what works and what doesn’t work. As you are focussing on Tik Tok, I think this article will help you for your final DA, as well as in the future https://www.insidehook.com/article/internet/tiktok-future-digital-marketing.

Goodluck and I am excited to keep following you on your journey!

  2. Hi, your topic is very special, I found that you mentioned “potterybox”. If the ceramic pot and digital integration can enable every young, interested scholar to participate in ceramic archaeology.
There are ceramic animation, ceramic music, ceramic games, this is the future that can be expected.

Ceramics is an “encyclopedia” of art, integrating practicality, design, decoration, painting, shaping and living. It is an ancient and vibrant art form created by human beings with the help of earth and fire.
Ceramics are almost eternal in human life. Today, many of our living habits and aesthetics are derived from its nourishment.

Using current technology, it always belongs to the concept of form, and ceramics belongs to the science of materials.
If the content and form are perfectly combined, the ceramic culture will be better.

I noticed that your video is a little blurry. Maybe it’s compressed and it affects the quality.
But your video images can be found in the blog post, which is great.
