I commented on Ann Mary’s Beta blog and provided her and Siddarth with some feedback. Their project is a TikTok account looking at board game nostalgia.
Beta Summary:
-They moved their content from YouTube to TikTok
-They will start promoting their TikTok content on their personal social media accounts
Last time I did peer commentaries, I didn’t engage with any of the lecture content, so I made sure to include notes from Chris’ lecture on nostalgia, as that is a big part of their digital artefact. I also provided a source for them to check out that also covers nostalgia, as well as retro games, which is similar to what they are looking at.
I did not mention anything about their change to TikTok. However, I think it was a good idea and did not need to be developed any further, since they did not share much else about the change, just that it was happening.
Overall, I think I improved from my last peer feedback review. I was able to engage with lecture and readings more so than before.
