I mentioned in my Pitch that I wanted my blog to reach potential readers to increase my future chances at sales as an author. However, since joining Twitter and seeing how large the writing community is, I decided it would be more beneficial if I change the target audience for my blog to writers. Some blogs on writing that I have taken inspiration from are Paper Fury and The Creative Penn.
Because of this slight change of plans, it means I have to change the way I have been promoting my blog. I was primarily posting to Instagram, where I post the least amount of writing-related content, meaning my audience does not follow me for writing tips and tricks. I will no longer be focusing on promoting to Instagram, only Twitter, where a lot of writers frequent.
